I seriously feel like I'm in a suburb of Cincinnati, like Madeira. Low buildings, few pedestrians, not much to do. Key difference is the ubiquity of electric fences and barbed wire around every building. I have 3 gates and doors to open with different keys before I get to the room in my guesthouse. Tomorrow I'll be going on a day tour of Johannesburg, and the day after I'll be starting my 5-day safari in Kruger. So, not much more of this. But boy am I missing the constant excitement in Latin America.
