Bangkok Airways: "Asia's Font-happy Airline"
Bangkok Airways likes to call itself "Asia's Boutique Airline," a cool slogan and based on my experience, well-deserved. But they seriously need to hire a graphic designer who can create some Corporate Identity guidelines! At every passenger touchpoint, it feels like flying a different airline with serif, sans serif, all caps, even script font.
From the signage for the lounge...
to the airport ticketing counter...
to gate shuttles...
to the boarding pass...
...even the airplane livery itself has a different font, and calls the airline "Bangkok Air" unlike anywhere else!
