Toronto Eats: city snacking tour, Queen Street West stop
Our next stop was Queen Street West, known as a hip and funky neighborhood.
We stopped in at a patisserie called Nadege, an all-white space decorated with a macaron snowman.
I had a latte and a matcha macaron, and shared the canelles.
The matcha macaron was excellent with clear matcha flavor. The canelles were eggy and moist, and had a deeply caramelized exterior. Nadege was great for people watching both inside of the patisserie as well as looking out onto the streets of Queen Street West.
