Cooking at Home: Lumpy Space Princess cheesecake
Gosh I hope this doesn't end up on cake wrecks! I'm pretty proud of this actually - my first time making a cheesecake, and my first time working with fondant! I made this for my roommate's birthday, and he is a big fan of Adventure Time, and especially Lumpy Space Princess (Princesa Bultos in Spanish!). I put the cheesecake inside of the bag for his gift.
This cheesecake recipe was actually quite straightforward. Basically beat cream cheese and sugar together. Yes, I wish I had my KitchenAid for times like this, but it's totally doable by hand!
And then the egg yolks little by little.
The toughest part was making Princesa Bultos, and finding the yellow star. Unfortunately there were no yellow star sprinkles that I could straight out buy, so I ended up buying a bunch of yellow gummy candies and cutting one of them into a star shape!
