Finland McDonald's - green food
Every country I go to, I like to visit McDonald's to see what menu items might be unique to that country. In Finland, I found Tuplamaku - Suklaa & päärynä -pirtelö. I had no idea what this is, but it was the color green in the picture, green is my favorite color, so I decided that I must try it.
Turns out it was the palest shade of green - practically undetectable, and with the faintest flavor. I looked up on Google Translate what it was that I just had. Turns out it was pear and chocolate shake. Here's an example of where language was critical to experiencing taste!
