San Francisco Fleet Week
I haven't posted in far too long, much has happened, so here are a few highlights.
Fleet Week was super cool. First I went to a rooftop party where watching the Blue Angels perform was truly amazing. It wasn't so much how fast they flew - it was more about how close they flew to the city.
The next day I attended the United Airlines Family Day at SFO airport. All flyertalk.com members were invited to go, and we made it just in time for the Blue Angels to land. Apparently the United maintenance center hosts the Blue Angels every year for Fleet Week.
Even when taxiing the planes are so orderly.
And here are the pilots handing the ground crew their helmets. Again, totally in unison.
