Sign Language: Krakow
I loved the signs I came across in Krakow, like these at Wawel Castle. They really came up with some highly simple yet descriptive icons. I especially love the Dragon's Den icon!
And look at the one on the upper right for Royal Tombs.
I also liked the signage near the train station. The icons for bus and tram are so iconic, yet so effective at communicating because of simple line placement and contrast in width.
They also win a prize because they're the first ones I've seen to show toilets using figures, but without putting a skirt on the woman. (I specify that they're the first I've seen using figures, because other toilets in Poland are marked with a circle for women and triangle for men.)
