Friday night calls for pizza night. And no PCR test today!

It’s been four full weeks of official lockdown (i.e. not counting the 8 days beforehand).

No PCR test today! And a double delivery too - of shelf-stable food!

I had cabbage for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (That’s not pasta under the bolognese sauce!) And it was a day of despair because the lockdown is being extended further and further, and cases are getting closer and closer.

Turning to tea, now that I’ve pretty much run out of coffee. And what a wonderful tea it is!

Today I could take my time to use up some more vegetables, but as soon as I feel like I have a good handle on things… along comes another delivery.

Trying to make headway through my accumulating supply of vegetables, I made nine different things today!

A long day was capped off by a yummy Mexican-inspired bowl, which in turn was capped off by a most amazing display of unity on social media - followed by censorship

The building across the alleyway was sealed shut. And we got two more deliveries!

Today, the PCR conveniently coincided with lunch break.

No PCR test today! Seems like we’re almost out of the woods, yet the supplies provided by the neighborhood government suggest that we could be here for a while longer… Overall, an exhausting day.

When you have to cook everything from scratch, what is a pastime of mine has become exhausting. And the neighborhood government seems to be setting us up for multiple months in lockdown, with a delivery of a LOT of everyday essentials.

Very kind neighbors helped set me up with several weeks’ worth of bottled water. Just in time because I was down to my last big bottle.

And another grazing type of lunch.

A perfect day to stay at home in lockdown, with a warm bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal to start the day.

It felt like Christmas in April!
