Ode to the Prius: Santa Fe
The Prius is feeling very much at home here in Santa Fe. This is one of those towns (others being Cambridge, MA, the Clifton neighborhood of Cincinnati....) where Prius/Subaru/Saab/Volvo have about 80% market share. Seriously I have not seen a more dense population of Prii before. In Santa Fe, the remaining cars on the road seem to be Ford F-350 and Chevy Silverado trucks.
Here is the Prius in front of a hitching post that was dedicated "at the end of the trail [the Santa Fe Trail?] to American cattlemen and their horses for their glorious role in winning the west." Hmmm... yee haw?
