Wall art: Brazil
After my last post about graffiti in Istanbul, I realized I never got around to posting about the graffiti I saw in Brazil. Of course, I can't possibly generalize about the entire country, but what stood out to me with the graffiti I did see in Rio and Sampa were two characteristics:
1) Highly figurative, but also a lot more use of text than what I saw in Buenos Aires.
2) HUGE diversity of style, from cartoon to sci-fi to realism all on the same wall.
