Berlin Hauptbahnhof

Berlin Hauptbahnhof

Stepping off the train from the Netherlands and arriving at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station), felt like a country bumpkin visiting the big city for the first time.

This is seriously a huge space. There are multiple floors with trains coming in and out on different floors, and also multiple floors of restaurants and shops.

I went back to Hauptbahnhof the morning after I arrived, because I really wanted to see the gleaming building in daylight.

This thing's seriously huge and awe-inspiring. It reminds me of the massive buildings going up in developing Asia now, but Berlin's main train station seems even more massive and bustling than those.
