Best of Munich Eats: Augustiner Bierhalle (meat)
We ended up at Augustiner Bierhalle by chance - it was where we were walking at the moment and looked bustling inside. Turns out a lot of tourists go there because it's in the guidebooks.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my meal quite a bit thanks to these gentlemen. They noticed that we didn't know what to order from the menu, and the one on the left (the nephew of the other gentleman), ended up ordering for us without us really knowing! They were fun to chat with too.
I ended up with the Sauerbraten, beef in sour sauce. It was tender and so tasty! The flour dumpling wasn't too bad, and the blaukraut (purple sauerkraut) was nice and sour but a bit soft for me.
The Edelstoff beef they ordered for us (and which they were having themselves) was also tasty.
